Umar Burkhan is an Associate Professor with a PhD in Finance and a CIMA qualification. He received his education from the Tashkent Institute of Finance (Uzbekistan) and Texas A&M University (USA).
Umar has extensive experience in the field of education, having worked at institutions such as the University of Iowa in the USA, Czech University of Life Sciences, and the Prague Institute of Management and Technology in the Czech Republic. He has held various top management positions within the education system in Uzbekistan, including Vice Rector at the Tashkent Institute of Finance, Vice Rector of the Tashkent State University of Economics, Chief Consultant at the Presidential Office, and World Bank Coordinator for Education in Uzbekistan.
In addition to his educational roles, Umar has significant experience in finance, having worked with AEGON Consulting in the USA, Honda Europe in the UK, and Black Ice in Prague, Czech Republic.
